TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I accept cheque, Bank transfer and pay-pal (on less expensive items) (buyer pays pay-pal fees)

Postage costs: Large/heavy items - £25.00.  Small/light items - £10.00. Very small items (ie. inert ammo) sent at cost.

All De-activated weapons sold, are fully compliant with UK Firearms law and mostly come with either a Birmingham or London Proof house certificate.

The Deactivation certificate will be present unless clearly stated otherwise in the weapons description.

Deactivation certificates are sometimes mislaid and the weapons arrive with me missing them, but they can be replaced at cost (requiring the weapon to be resubmitted to the proof house), however, providing the firearm displays clear London or Birmingham deactivation proof stamps on all pressure bearing parts and was submitted for proof house inspection and verification from 1988 on, the deactivated weapon is perfectly legal to keep at home with no FAC required.

A minimum age of 18 is required for the sale of De-activated, antique and edged weapons.

At this time, I cannot ship De-activated weapons or un-restricted weapon parts and firearm magazines outside the UK.

The De-activated Weapons and Militaria I sell are intended solely for serious collectors, re-enacting and Film or Theatrical use.

References and descriptions as to the origins of specific items for sale are provided for information purposes and historical background, they do not represent my personal views in any way.

If you wish to return your purchase, I am happy to offer a full refund (Less P&P) providing the item or items purchased are returned to me within 7 days of purchase in the condition supplied and with all supporting documentation i.e De-activation certificate etc.

All items sold on a commission basis meet my strict quality criteria and come from trusted sources. They are in my possession and dispatched by me. Commission pieces are thoroughly researched and treated as if they were my own stock. The one exception to this being I can't offer split payment terms on commission sales.

                       ANTIQUE FIREARM CONDITION STANDARD

FACTORY NEW: All original parts; 100% original finish; in perfect condition in every respect, inside and out.

EXCELLENT: All original parts; over 80% original finish; sharp lettering, numerals and design on metal and wood; unmarred wood; fine bore.

FINE: All original parts; over 30% original finish; sharp lettering, numerals and design on metal and wood; minor marks in wood; good bore.

VERY GOOD: All original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or

bruised; bore disregarded for collectors firearms.

GOOD: Some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned or re-blued; principal letters, numerals and design on metal legible; wood refinished, scratched bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.

FAIR: Some major parts replaced; minor replacement parts may be required; metal rusted, may be lightly pitted all over, vigorously cleaned or re-blued; rounded edges of metal and wood; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal partly obliterated; wood scratched, bruised, cracked or repaired where broken; in fair working order or can be easily repaired and placed in working order.
